Awards Criteria

The awards program was created to recognize outstanding service to the college and university. Awards are presented in two categories:

Senior Staff Leadership Award: staff members with more than 5 years of service to the university (must have worked in the college for a minimum of five consecutive years) are eligible.

Outstanding Junior Staff Award:
staff members with 1-5 years of service to the university (must have worked in the college for a minimum of one year) are eligible.

Criteria

  • Service to the department/office.
  • Service to the college and/or university community (for example, serving on committees, staffing or organizing events or university functions, and other voluntary university activities).
  • Daily interaction with fellow staff members, students, and/or faculty.
  • Other notable activities.

Staff Recognition Endowment:

The A&S Staff Awards are funded by the college’s Staff Recognition Endowment, which supports community- and morale building activities for Arts and Sciences staff.
